This Monday on Two Valleys: Many Views, we’re all about festivals! We are halfway through May and the festival season is well underway. Last weekend we were down in Holmfirth for the Festival of Folk and we have highlights from the weekend to play for you. If it wets your appetite you can hear the whole programme here and here.
We are really excited to be going to Shepley Spring Festival this year and we have Nikki from the festival coming in to tell us what we have in store for us.
One of our volunteers, John, lives in Marsden and runs his own Tenants and Residents Association group for young people. Dealing with issues in the area. We find out what his group wants to improve in the area and how they are making changes.
The Meltham Churches Together group has a Whit Fun Day at Meltham CofE Junior school, so we speak to Paul and Daphne from the group to find out a little more.
And of course, our usual round-up of news and events from the Holme and Colne valleys, in the Valley Round-Up. Phew! A really jam packed show!
It’s the audio newspaper for the Two Valleys and it’s live at 6pm.
