<p>We&#8217;re hearing from Alan Bradford, a man of many talents, about the recording of his song &#8216;Peace and Harmony&#8217; with his musical charity Caritas. We&#8217;ll hear Holme Valley Parish Council&#8217;s recommendations on a new Tesco store in Holmfirth, based on the <a href="http://www.twovalleysradio.co.uk/listenagain/two-valleys-many-views-16th-jan/" target="_blank">meeting we heard about last week</a>. Plus, the new website on the block &#8211; Dan Hughes is the founder of <a href="http://www.slawit.org/sample-page/" target="_blank">Slawit.org</a>, and we hear from him what it&#8217;s all about. And our usual Valley Round-up exploring what&#8217;s on in the valleys.</p>

Holmfirth Writers Group bring us a programme of poems, short stories and radio dramas, all based around the theme of Resolution.</p>

To end the afternoon we&#8217;ll have an exlusive live session from band <a href="http://maiatheband.com/" target="_blank"><em>Maia</em></a>,  who formed in Huddersfield and have since been performing all over the  country. We invited them back to their roots for an acoustic set, and a  bit of a natter.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s our first broadcast of 2012 &#8211; and the very first Monday Night Clinic in the now weekly series!</p>
<p>We start the programme with the usual Valley Round Up looking not only at the coming weeks but also through to the summer.</p>
<p>Martin Gonzales is the Sports Development Officer for Kirklees Council, we chat to him on the phone about what opportunities are available to people in the Valleys to get involved with the Olympics in your area&#8230;</p>
<p>2012 is going to be the best year for Two Valleys Radio, tune in to find out about all the different things going on&#8230;</p>
<p>There has been a lot of attention given to the <a href="http://www.examiner.co.uk/news/local-west-yorkshire-news/2011/09/05/new-bid-for-holmfirth-tesco-store-by-supermarket-giant-86081-29365433/" target="_blank">opening of a new supermarket</a> in Holmfirth, so we speak to one of the Parish Councillors about the meeting happening on 10th January at Holmfirth Library where you can have your say about what happens in your village.</p>

Appointment with Adam is a brand new murder mystery play written and performed by members of the <a href="http://www.thelbt.org/" target="_blank">Lawrence Batley Theatre</a> community groups. We heard the <a href="http://www.twovalleysradio.co.uk/listenagain/write-now/" target="_blank">very beginnings</a> of this piece when we were at Honley High School’s Shakespeare day and the group have been working on it and fleshed it out and have given us the exclusive premiere!</p>
