I enjoyed the evening, and would like to congratulate the organisers on a successful question time, but I have one criticism of the event. The fact that the speakers were given the questions beforehand meant that they read out prepared answers which were sometimes very similar. There was less opportunity for candidates to address the controversial content of each other's speeches.

Unfortunately I was unable to make the event at Marsden, but I have listened to the event on this website. It was a well-chaired meeting. Not all the candidates had well-thought out policies for the Colne Valley constituency. I wanted to hear a candidate who believed in a fairer society in which the NHS was protected. That candidate is Jane East.

It was a very good evening and I would like to thank Two Valleys RADIO for recording the evening as it has been very helpful to be able to listen again to what was said.Thank you
