broadcasting to both valleys at once
The end of the school year is swiftly approaching, and for Honley Junior School’s Year 6’s this means finishing their time as a Honley Junior schoolchild and thinking about graduating up to high school. The transition from junior school up to high school is a big leap and an exciting journey for all children, but it can leave them feeling nervous and worried about all the new things, people and experiences they will encounter and engage with. To get ahead of the game, Honley Junior School have been visited by the deputy head teacher of Honley High School as well as some year 7’s, they have also visited the high school to see what it’s like. But some of the year 6’s have had the opportunity to talk to a range of different people at the high school to find out what it’s really like up there and share the worries and excitement of the year 6’s with the high school.
