We are very happy to be involved with Honley High School’s partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company – and were delighted to be invited down to the school for their performances of King Lear. This involved 10 different schools in all – each performing a different section of the play.
In this first part of the broadcast, there’s an interview with Head Teachers Chris Sylge from Honley High School and Jane Richardson from Crossland Moor Primary School; director John Cotgrave and Virginia. Grainger from the RSC.
Also featured are young people from Honley Junior School whom we caught up with earlier in the week, and live in the caravan, pupils, staff and parents from Honley High, Helme Juniors, Meltham C of E, Brockholes, Rowley Lane, and Dubai!
Leave us your email address and we’ll remember you next time you visit.
