Bikeability is the company delivering their brand of National Cycle Training mainly to Schools. Banning a word is too harsh, but it goes by the name National Standards. You will not see Cycling Proficiency on any certificates. There was a big push when the new training was relaunched to not call it Cycling Proficiency, and I have only repeated what is the trend in this area. As you have stated Bikeability have distanced themselves from the old name. But really I don't mind what you want to call it.

"I'm sorry, you can't call it cycling proficiency, that's banned..." I'm sorry, but who banned it? Bikeability, the company running the levels mentioned, states on their website, 'cycling proficiency' for the 21st Century!
