Mucho goodness from Standedge as, for the first time, Marsden puts on events specifically aimed at young people and families. The Annual Jazz Service at the United Church featuring New Orleans Wiggle. Music and interviews from (amongst others) Huddersfield University and Shelley Music Centre Big Bands; The Why and Wherefores; Mike Walker’s Madhouse Band; Manchester University Jazz Orchestra and Invisible Kid. Topped and tailed with a couple of numbers from Saturday night’s late night concert from the Haggis Horns.
That’s it from us – thanks to all at the Festival. And to all the musicians who gave us time for a chat and allowed us to record some of their sets. If you like the music… please, please go to the gigs, buy the cds, pay to download and support musicians to make the music we love.
Leave us your email address and we’ll remember you next time you visit.
