“An odd festival in an odd year”.
If you have never been to the wonderful Moonraking Festival then have a listen in to our report on the Moonraking Procession from 2009.
But now the Festival has gone all biennnial, our broadcast from the Watershed this year is part of the NOT Moonraking celebrations.
The NOT Moonraking programme included thoughts on the Festival from a whole range of people – even down at the hairdressers; the whole legend of Moonraking; reports on other events organised this week and two specially adapted radio plays (performed by Mikron Youth Theatre and Two Valleys Radio Drama Group).
First off, join Gill, Issy and Chairman Stuart discussing the decision to go biennial.

Well I finally got round to listening to the 2 radio plays and a fine job was done by all. So congratulations to Marsden Youth Theatre and the other distinguished cast who were actually PREMIERING 'Stolen Moon' which never got an outing in its previous incarnation. Yes I know I wrote it but I laughed out loud at more than a couple of the jokes in front of my computer screen - sad but true! Big congratulations on Two Valleys Radio Moonraking Special and I look forward to working on the 9 hour Moonraking cycle of operas... Lots of love and encouragement, Adam (Strickson)
