Our wordy-birdy (that’s writer Peter Spafford) has been working at Rawthorpe Junior School just outside Huddersfield for nearly 18 months now. Over that time they’ve written prose and poetry, short stories and long ones, and they got the chance to create two whole hours of Two Valleys Radio.
8 year six pupils will be brought us interviews, discussion, poems, local and live music, and even some specially made jingles!
A huge thanks to all the young people involved, and to everyone at Rawthorpe Junior and Netherhall Learning Campus for making us feel so welcome.
Leave us your email address and we’ll remember you next time you visit.

I was sorry not to be around when the programme was broadcast but I've listened all the way through now - impressive! It's a great way to end the Inside Me project and Peter's time at Rawthorpe. Thanks everyone, especially all the writers who've produced such amazing work over the last two years. Your words have made me laugh and sometimes bought a tear to my eye. Keep writing!
