This Monday on Two Valleys: Many Views,
Last weekend saw a bumper bank holiday thanks to Her Madge, and the Valleys were taken over by street parties throughout the weekend. We sent our reporter Rory down to Paddock to take in a street party extravaganza.
Very soon throughout Kirklees, libraries will be taken over by a scheme called Make A Noise in Libraries, a chance to find out all about what libraries offer to visually impaired people. We will have Kim in the studio to find out more about what’s going on across the Holme and Colne valleys.
Holmfirth Arts Festival kicks off this Thursday and we will be joined by one of the organisers to find out what is in store. It’s one of the highlights of the calendar for the Holme valley and is not to be missed!
Unfortunately we were unable to broadcast from Honley Show due to safety concerns. Our Two Valleys Radio Drama Club were working on farming related plays to perform on the day. So tonight we will present some of the agricultural tiny plays the group had worked on.
And of course, our usual round-up of news and events from the Holme and Colne valleys, in the Valley Round-Up.
We will be back live with you at the beginning of July. For the next two weeks we will present a best of TV:MV of the year so far!
It’s the audio newspaper for the Two Valleys and it’s live at 6pm.
Leave us your email address and we’ll remember you next time you visit.
