Today’s TV:MV has the theme of ‘Change’, we start by looking back at the Honley and Slawit Xmas lights switch on. We have an exclusive interview with the Hairy Bikers who counted down the Slawit lights and discuss the volunteer led ‘meals on wheels’ project they set up.
We follow on with our regular Valley Round-Up presented by our volunteers Rosie and Rory. Following that we get an exclusive interview and performance from Holmfirth Writer’s Group member Joyce Worsfold who is releasing a book of her poetry (available from Holmfirth Library).
With our theme of ‘Change’ we chat to Robin Bowles of the Huddersfield Quakers about their recent book event all about social change all over the world. Is there anything we can learn and put into practice in the Valleys? Last but by no means least, we have another Tiny Play from Jenny inspired by this weeks theme.
