6th March 2012
So, on today’s Two Valleys Many Views, Team Sheeper continued their excellent roll of shows by firstly taking part in Fairtrade fortnight. We set volunteer Meg the challenge of seeing how many Keepy Ups she could do with an ethically made football. She did admirably, though I don’t think our studio can stand any more footballs in the air. If you have any suggestions for our ‘Challenge Meg’ then why not leave a comment below. Our volunteers have many strings to their bow, in fact two of them have recently joined the Air Cadets, so we decided to go down and see just what they get up to. We also present our regular feature the Valley Round Up to keep you up to date with everything going on over the next couple of weeks.
And if that wasn’t enough, we like to focus on important issues going on in the community. We looked into the possibility of a Tesco opening in Holmfirth and now at the possible new housing in the Valleys. Our investigative community journalists went down to the Green Belt Protest that happened in Huddersfield over the weekend. Find out what happened on the day and what the next step is in this important community issue on Two Valleys Radio.
It’s the audio newspaper for the Two Valleys and it’s live at 6pm.
